apple bisque

One day I'm going to throw a bunch of apples, sugar, milk, butter and cinnamon into a pot in indiscriminate proportions and make delicious soup. (Disclaimer: I am not a chef. Do not try at home. Kitchens may go boom.)

Can't believe we're at the WeeklyBeats 2020 finish line. I'll miss it a ton next year.
Stay safe and take care, everybody. And thanks for everything this year. smile Happy Holidays.

Oh - and Happy Winter Solstice! Personally, I love long nights and rainy days, but for fair-weather fans, each day will be a little brighter from here on out. Let's hope that's true in more ways than one.

Tasty.

Loving the chippy vibe here. Nice work!

That piano took me by surprise. A good surprise that is, I like how it just carries in the background the whole time.

This brings me back to the earlier months this year, it'd fit right into that lineup. It's so beautiful.

Consider adding flour into that pot.

I love how the song starts like chipture reggae but morphs as the keyboard and pad get in. Nice nice palette of sounds and composition!

Interesting! I hadn't been conscientiously thinking about genre, but I appreciate the insight. And thanks for listening. smile

Thanks so much! And funny enough, I was just thinking flour might've been missing. But everything I cook either turns into a fried plantain, a grilled cheese, scrambled eggs, or a total mess, so I'd probably better consult someone who knows what they're doing. tongue

Thanks everybody!

Great production with so many fine details! That dreamy piano line anchors it all together. Beautiful. See you at the finish line smile

It depends on what you want. If you want cake or cookies, you replace the milk with flour. If you want pancakes, you remove the butter and add flour and eggs. If you want some sort of sauce, clear the butter first. If you want soup, add water.

Cooking isn't an exact science, it's more of an art.

I've missed listening to your music. Came to to check out the stuff I missed from last year and this one is delightful smile

I still think you should be composing for video games, maybe some kind of JRPG.
