Hi gang!
Enough with the cheese, it's time to get weird! x)
Most of the track was done in bed this morning. It all started with an experiment to fuck up m8's delay and reverb send effects. Punched in some chords and liked the weird feeling I got from the sound. From there I had a vision in my head, but I wasn't able to get in done.  Next time I should try to not procrastinate until sunday maybe.. big_smile

I really think there is some potential in this track. Felt rather uninspired this evening so I couldn't take the track where I wanted it to be. Still super happy to have something for this week!
Let me know, if you have ideas or feedback to the track. I appreciate your input! heart

Thanks for listening! Wishing us all a productive week 4. smile

This is really cool. The drums and sound choices give it a hyperpop vibe. Reminds me of a dark SOPHIE track. Something really sinister about the bass.

This is breaking my brain in a good way

I like the weird basses and kicks in this. Super metallic and SOPHIE-esque as someone said. Awesome. If it had just a bit more evolution/variety throughout the track it'd probably be absolutely bonkers.

Great job on this one regardless, especially for a morning-of banger!

Great job with the M8 tracker on this one.  You make it sound like a Nanoloop device

Getting jiggy with the FX, I like it! Always good to have some unpredictable elements. I like your sound choices, it's giving grimey hardware jam, and the kick has a really satisfying oomph to it.

My subwoofer was not ready for this kick - local news tomorrow: minor earthquakes (it was your track 🤩)

Nice tune!

Hyperpop is not exactly my cup of tea, but I agree on that SOPHIE influence, yet quite darker ... I can hear some Arca vibes here, also. The kick is super solid, no doubt about it.

Out of curiosity : How many FX sends could be used on the M8 ? I'm not very familiar with it, just with its small distant cousin ... LittleGPTracker ("the Piggy").

Good sound design!

Not OP wink but M8 can send each track to independant mod (chorus or phaser or flanger)/delay/reverb sends

Thanks for your feedback! I am glad you like it. I should definitely come back to this later and finish it properly.

Hi laguna, thanks for your feedback! smile
The m8 has 3 fx sends (rev/delay/mod(which can be chorus, phaser or flanger)) shared for all 8 tracks. sometimes another delay would be nice, but you could always resample or build some fake delay with the sequencer.
i think m8s effects sound really good!
