Took an old atmos loop I made forever ago and chopped it up into a proper beat. Mostly a warmup piece to get used to hardware again.

Lately I've been both addicted to buying new gear, and not spending enough time to learn any of it. So this year my goal is to stick to a mostly static setup and create a live performance set out of the beats I end up with - hopefully I can form something cohesive.

Love how that sampled line flows!

Exploring your existing gear, and getting into a solid static setup is an awesome goal, and a great creative limitation

My own goals aren't toodissimilar - its "year of the m8" for me, there's so much to learn!

I am not familiar with the M8 but it is so ubiquitous and also all the tracks just sound like you all are having so much fun with it. I like the really short snappy groove elements here.

I know that GAS feeling, so many fun toys in the world, but never enough time to play with 'em!

I love how this is chopped. Great rhythm and a cool sound

WB is a great solution to "I have no idea how to use this stuff"

learn one new thing each week!

cheers!
