Laptop Destroyer - Acid Bath

By laptopdestroyer on February 4, 2024 11:48 pm

Take-no-prisoners filthy distorted acid workout this week!
Finally back at home (big ups Nhulunbuy, NT, Australia!) and set up my studio, got the 303 clone out of its box (i got the TD-3-MO... if only i could spring for a real Devilfish?!) and fuck it's awesome. Feel like this is a test run for some big 'proper' releases. Excited!!

there is something raunchy and greasy about this. like i've walked in on something that can't be unseen. the acid bath should help.

haha, thanks (i think!) maybe it's got a bit too much evil at the moment..!

Daaaaamn, nice and dirty. Love it!

Sounds filthy and great! Glad your studio is up and running, excited to hear more of your creations!

i just started working with the TD3 this week too, hoping it will make it into my track next week. I love what you are doing with it here, sounds great. nicely done!

Boy, this be so dirty I gotta take another shower. Hahahahaha, I love the grit and heavy industrial acidy feel this track gives off. INTENSE! There are kick drums that sound like they were made by someone dropping an empty oil drum on its side in a large storage room a few doors down and it works very well. Awesome work!

Cool. Just add some FX in  post and the TD3 is a beast. I love running it into a reverb before going into distortion and saturation, just makes it sound huuuge!

More reverb, more reverb!! And then have a shower, haha... thanks for the kind words, i'm stoked!!

Maybe not a devilfish, but it still sounds huge.  Love the bounce, reverse hits, and whatever that reverby bass thing is near the end that sounds like striking a big pipe

BIG acid sound, nice ripping line!

I got a day with a real Devilfish once, years ago, it was incredible, i pulled the most amazing sounds out of it. Full tracks with beats and squelch all coming out of it at once?!?! This one in particular, OMG! https://zzaapp.bandcamp.com/track/devilfish-three

You used it to make the beat?  That's pretty wild

Sounds big, spacey and deep! Cool to hear some MO action from the other side of the planet, love mine!

sick acid and the rest of it is fire too.
