As the Dawn Aches

So, I built a vocal booth out of acoustic blankets and pvc pipes. Still using the MXL 990 condenser mic and I feel the vocal recordings are super clear. I recorded pretty late at night, so my voice was a little groggy. I feel like I'm getting to a point where the recording tech setup is good enough that I can just work on what I'd like to improve about my actual singing.

Left an extra run through the vocals at the end without any instrumentation in case anyone wanted to provide feedback on how just the vocals sound.

Also, shout out to Djippy for some great feedback last week.

The booth sounds clean! At this point I'd agree that improvements are gonna come from either vocal technique or improved signal chain processing. Which I don't know enough about to give helpful advice lol

Beautiful, bravo
Though you'd be the one to get a pass on bad vocals

Thanks! Clean recordings and vocal technique are my focus for sure.

You're very kind. In retrospect, I'd probably make this song a little faster but I'm pretty happy with how the harmonies turned out.
