I mean, most importantly, I'm seeing Iron Maiden on Friday night.  They don't come out this way very often but as they are hands down my most favorite band of all time, it will be a very exciting week.  I'll probably end up writing a 12 minute epic about a British fighter pilots in ancient Egypt or something for next weeks submission...

This week, far less grandiose.  There is something here I think, an outline of an idea.  A mix of Granulator and Wavetable, lots of effects but I am learning that the wet doesn't need to 100% all the time, most are less than 20.  I definitely want to use more guitar, that is for certain.

Also, fuck this wind.  It's been like a week of constant gales, I need sleep damn it.

IRON MAIDEN!

That's awesome!  Have a great time!  I had a college roommate that was bonkers for them so I got indoctrinated.  That's so cool that you are a fan!  I don't really meet a lot of IM heads these days.  Can't wait for the review and inspired track!

This track did sound like wind, I like it.

Hell yeah Iron Maiden! Enjoy the show!

This track, wow. I like the rhythmic sort of thing it started with at around :15, but then it evolved into what I can only think of as doppler effect sounds of space freighters going by, complete with pan effects. It was absolutely amazing...felt like being in the traffic lane at a spaceport and nearly getting run over a half dozen times. Fantastic atmosphere!

This gave me visuals of a giant industrial train slowly moving through apocalyptic weather.  Those doppler-like guitar swells sounded awesome.  and hell yais IM \m/ go Eddie!
