The proud steps of indiference (walking over Europe)

Although I'm proud of this one as a musical accomplish, it wasn't ment to be "cool". Minimal piece, with just two MIDI tracks sequencing a now old Yamaha A4000 hardware sampler. 2 banks of samples, one chopping the wonderful Jimmy McGriff's "The worm" break and the other is my personal take on the Teenage Engineering PO12 low fidelity pocket beat box.

No melody. Just drums, bass and soft glitches. Didn't felt like making it pretty and glossy.

Two tracks sequenced with Ableton Live Suite 9 then recorded and twisted with lots of automation. A kind of farewell to the hardware unit, indeed, as it will be sold soon.

* Will be uploading some arrangement pictures really soon here

In the light of some events in European politics, I didn't felt really optimistic about the future. Maybe it's me, maybe it's everything... Let the music speaks for itself instead of putting some things in words.

A track as a big fuck u to that twat Dave Cam. I like it!
I love the minimalism of the track. Cause even though it's only drum and bass, it's very diverse. Wish it could have gone on for longer, really !

I like them more when they're a little bit rough around the edges.

A fitting response, with the minimalism underscoring the point you're making.

this is so good.  dang.

It's a sweet groove and about as good a reaction as I can imagine to all the messed up stuff going on in the political world.

suhweet beat! The wao-wao is addictive ear candy smile  Nice work!

Well, it is not just because of the Brexit. Watching people repeating the same mistakes and blaming "the inmigrants" and then voting again for the same guys who caused the trouble because they wear expensive suit and ties... Depressing

THanks for listening and the support. Maybe I'd remix it later if I get the right approach/mood

Thanks Edmund. I think this one's a little rough, at least for me smile

Still comes across as cool (i.e. good).

Same thing might very well happen here in the US: given a choice between the same-old same-old of Hillary and "let's tear everything down because we're good and pissed" of Trump, well...

As always excellent!
Gorgeous beat and build up

Europe isnt for you and me. They think BIG, thats the problem
Money Dollars buck´s that fuck´s smile
