Summer dawn

This has been maybe the hardest week of the year, when it comes to work. Almost no time for listening and commenting. I even have not answered many of your kind comments... I haven't forgot about you. It's just that I almost don't have a life right now wink

I really really need to sleep properly...

I made this weird thingie starting from the pad. Plugged the audio output of my netbook running OpenMPT to a weird chain of pedals that I'd love to show you. It was becoming very Eno-esque but I thought it was great as nap music but a little bit lazy. Browsed through some iKaossilator beats and sketches and used the beat to modulate the rising pad... Not sure what to think of it.

I am so tired right now...

Peace y'all. I'm going to bed. Hope you enjoy this little strange groove I made.

has a very cool donkey kong country-ish vibe; soundtrack to a mellow island scene. the high reverbed pads that slide in at the end are especially nice.

Very chilled indeed. I love the drums. Am listening to this on holiday and it's the perfect chill-to-music: good to be lazy listening to it, too exciting to fall asleep to it! smile

thick beat works so nicely

Nice snares!

That's pretty sweet.

Wunderbar chillout piece smile

Thank you ioflow! Actually it's the same pad all over the song, modulated by the beat through a vocoder. I twaek the formant from time to time to give it a slight variation

Merci Beacoup DJ someguy! I'm glad you found that balance in the song. I must confess I keep the original pad literally as "nap music" (a whole 15 minute mix of just the pad in my phone) smile

Glad to see you back, Abludo! You were missed. Guess u said goodbye to the exams for now smile

Thanks for the compliment smile I keep some random iKaossilator beats I create in any spare moment and throw them altogether until some of them works. Then I trim those beats and maybe reslice them, to give interesting variations

Vielen dank mein Freund!

Mmm, so relaxing. Absolutely awesome track, and I really dig the crispy, massive, delayed clap sound, hits just how it should. Great work my friend! smile

Please do!

Very relaxing, title perfectly fits the track, I really like the crunchy elements mixed in with the warm sounds, adds some texture and interest

Pretty sweet; strangely relaxing for something with such a punchy beat!

I hear the Eno-esque parts and even a bit of floaty Aphex ambience towards the middle end of the track.  I hope you can get some proper sleep.  Sometimes lack of sleep can produce a good effect musically smile  Feel better and keep up the good work!

Great beat carnal! Me gusto el pad mucho! Buenas noches Laguna.
