Shores of NAND Sea

By laguna on October 26, 2014 11:29 pm

This week's been pretty hectic for me. I've lost my wallet and some money, and it's been a little ruff at work, so I didn't achieve the kind of peace of mind to do some worthy effort sampling an excellent track by my fellow WB Tone Matrix.

Instead, I made this one as trying to get a brief relaxed moment in life. Just Ableton devices and some tricks taught by experimental master Onezero.

Respect y'all. Hope to get some zen while hearing your tracks.

Sorry to hear the bad news about the wallet and the rough week.  This is a great little atmosphere, though--I can feel the relaxing waves of logic lapping up on the beach.  Nice delayed ring mod (I think)--what all'd you use?  Glad to inspire it!

Great feel, love the incidental bits!

There is beauty in there. Glad you shared.

I'd like to wash up on the shore of NAND Sea any day. smile I hope this week was better for you than your last!

Sorry for the late reply, man! I was playing with the sends, feedbacking some delay tracks to themselves and trying to reach the acceptable limit, in order to give the track more movement.

There's no ring modulation, but the main melody is built with Analog and two phasing PWM oscillators, heavilly modulated. Guess a lot of wave interaction is happening somewhere.

Just three instances of Analog and two sends, thats it. Pretty huge for an atmospheric chiptune, I guess.

Thanks for the comments... and the inspiration, of course!!!

Herzlich willkommen! Just a tiny tune built in a rush, but I guess there's some good ideas here to work further once WB is over wink

Really appreciated, man, I mean it smile And sorry for the late answer. Things are going back to normal now, so now more time to listen to your dope tracks!
