Rumble schematics

By laguna on April 22, 2018 11:55 pm

Everything was going fine until a family member drop her iphone in the water... so I spent half a Sunday fixing it. No hassle, but the song stayed more or less untouched, because I have to catch a train just five hours after the deadline.

So this is it: a schematic boom bap tune with no bassline and almost nothing but the beat. I hope to give it a go in a few days, because I was diggin it.

Gotta sleep a little bit, my friends. Best wished to all, have a great week! smile

Fun piece of music (perfect phrasing) AND a repaired iPhone? I'm impressed.

Good groove... good bones on the track.  I like the minimalism because you can focus on the beat.

Did you put the iPhone in a bag of rice? Never had to try that myself, but I did a brief stint as a repair tech at a Mac shop.

Digging the light-hearted spirit of this one--it's like a dance-off in the toy shop after hours.

Great title, and killer drums, hopefully you can finish it off at some time

Love the bounce of this. Very nice! Also, I have a turtle named Laguna. lol

It's got that cool vibe suspended in the middle registers, like a pause menu background music or a gentle party sensation.

Killer groove in this and I agree with Devieus about the middle registers.  I hope the iPhone survived smile

It sounds like something is waiting, in a positive sense smile
