Back by popular demand! (just kidding). Thanks a lot for all the comments and feedback. I will be catching up soon. Life's been really really busy and I should not be doing music today, though I couldn't stand another minute without making beats.

I put last week's ambient / Berlin School samples under a slow motion 82 bpm treatment and a lot of glitch. I initially planned to take the remix to familiar territory under Ableton Live, but everything was finally made with Renoise under Linux. All mentioned plugins in the tag are Windows 10 64 bit confortably running under yabridge without a hiccup.

I'm usually quite obsessive when it comes to slicing and dicing, so this approach feel quite "wild" to me, meaning the chops are quite sloppy. Well, not so, but they're could be mathematically perfect if I took the synths and replay everything under MIDI instead of cutting the stem with scissors. Anyway, I think the result is somewhat noisy and quite messy, but somewhat more spontaneous.

Main drums are from one of my old kits, made with the Nintendo DS1 groovebox and a monophonic tape recorder. The samples are noisy as f***, though I kinda like them. Reinforcement beats are classic tape driven Roland 606 beats.

Sorry if I'm missing some details. I really should be going to bed. Arrangement is sketchy and needs a lot of improvement and embelishments, though I materialize the main idea nearly 20 minutes before the deadline!

All samples courtesy of the Amazon Web Services "Cloud Practitioner" introduction course, taken completely out of context smile (Please don't sue)

Thanks for dropping by. Have the best seven days you could possibly have in this world, WB family!!!
