I've been working on an adaptation of a jam I did with my former Volca Sample using the open source Ardour DAW on Linux. I'm very happy with it, but the progress is slow. I didn't manage to finish it on Sunday and I was about to give up, though in the late evening I grabbed some dark beat back from December 2005!
All quickly mixed in Ableton Live, rather monotonous, yet still I felt something was missing. Anyway, I'm happy I could dig another idea from the idea's graveyard. Maybe I'll work on it for a Soundcloud update

Definitely good material here for further elaboration.
Like the lofi feel of this and those cymbals sound great, I was just listening to a DJ spooky record, kind of reminds me of that
Whoah, I still listen to my copy of "Songs of a dead dreamer" from time to time. He's been a great inspiration, so it's a very flattering comparison for me. I've got a couple of old incomplete tracks very inspired by "Grapheme" by DJ Spooky, so... maybe I should dig them out
Thanks very much for listening and commenting, Jason

I agree. I should take the time to add some more elements and variation. I'm puzzled about what to add at the begining.
Thanks for your feedback, Jim

Really clever and inspiring GIF. Very dreamy. It could inspire a song on its own, kinda like "She sent me this GIF"
Thank you
Digging the cymbal line dancing around the kick. They fit nicely with those submarine-like deep synths.
i want to hear laguna's dream within a dream swim song!
