I'm back on duty and quite behind my WB listening. I'd love to catch up soon, job permiting.

I fooled around for some days with some beat-based projects, but wasn't feeling it. Same old, same old, you know sad

The weekend was relatively quiet so I ditched everything and started from scratch using Renoise. Using some library single-cycle waveforms I was ready to build some chiptuny patches. Sorry to all the decent musicians who know their harmony and are able to change scales. I remained on some "F Major" (I guess) and it sounded sorta OK. Didn't have much time left anyway to improve my chord progressions since my bedtime is really tight on work days.

I made some 16 bar loops and dumped everything as stems of audio, so I could arrange them in Live. Tried not to abuse automation so it almost has any, just some delay to smooth the abrupt changes and add a little movement.

I guess it's a little messy, but warm enough. Would love to touch some details but I should be sleeping already.

Hope you have a great week, WB family!!! Stay safe and sound, wherever you are smile

It does not sound messy. I like all the different layers of rather clean simple synth waves, but the way they layer makes the track buildup and getting really hypnotic. Also, great gif.

getting hypnotized as well.

I hear what you mean about doing the same old, easy to fall into usual patterns.  This has a nice meditative feel to it, nice use of the delay to blend the transitions, works well.

great fakechip!  your image fits it well.  very colorful.  it's better for this not to get too crazy as I enjoy the meditative nature of it

This was super calming to listen to. It felt like a bonus level smile
