Lap dancers love sinewaves

By laguna on July 13, 2014 11:59 pm

I started this one on the iPad, finally taking it seriously and learning the nuances and beauty of AudioBus and AudioCopy. Then I catched a summer cold and been like a zombie for the last two days.

This one's about my daydreams of Tangerine dream playing with their modulars in a strip joint. For some bizarre reason, ladies prefer analog gear.

Tools of the trade: Beat Maker 2, Korg iPolisix, Ableton Live 9, Native Instruments Monark

Mix is a little bit sloppy, but I'm very tired... Going back to bed.

I'm sure your tunes will rock this week wink

It's the motion of the waves.  I hear it beats sudden ons and offs any day.  Digital is like pistons hammering away.  Analog is fluid and smooth and sometimes messy (because it's harder to discern noise from signal).  Usually chicks don't dig messy, but when it comes to music and certain other things, they do.

Get better soon!

Oh, and I love when you say, "my mix is sloppy."  And I'm always like, "yeah, whatever."

Tangerine Dream in a strip-joint .. surely there is a comedy skit in there somewhere, or Kraftwerk playing a kid's party - straight faced German electronicy types in odd situations anyway smile This is great anyways, nice one!

Absolutely fantastic! Good mix, too.

Great title haha and the track is amazing!

I like the dub sorta feel it has with the bassline and sparkly synths that come in midway!  nice job! smile

sounds really great in my ears. Great variety and nice use of your tools. Love it!
