Extra thanks to Wysefire for the last minute upload link !!! I'm looking for 3G signal like in a horror movie.

A quick pseudo jam / beat / idea born from browsing some Battery 4 presets. This is a piece of software that I've owned for years, yet I've never learnt to properly use. It was about time.

All in the box, Ableton Live 10 with Battery, one Operator preset and one FX send for the delay... and headphones. Sometimes simple is better smile

Missing your tracks a lot, because days are busy and not much time to catch up. Thanks a lot to all the people listening and leaving comments, even when I'm silent and absent myself. Means a lot.

Have some great 7 days, wherever you are.

7 days is a long time but I’ll take it.

You killed it with Simple here. Great beat, and that arp behind it gave this feel of mystery. What lurks below! Awesome track.

Thanks a lot, Paisleyfrog !!! There are moments I think the arps are in the wrong tonality against the "quasi"-tonal snare, because it was a really last last minute addition, though I covered the synth with strong filtering so the high notes are not so obvious and "in your face"

Again, thanks for the compliments smile

Those are some great drums and nice effects on the drum transitions.  I forgot about battery, so many nice kits on it, I should revisit it.

Oh, indeed! I forgot about it many many years ago. In fact, the whole "Komplete" thing is kind of an "almost unexplored world" for me. I gave up on the pressure of "having Kontakt as the Industry Standard" and ended almost never using it.

Native Instruments has great products, yet their practices, although not the worst or the most closed of the industry, are not very friendly to Linux, open source or even the idea that "you don't need the most recent toy in the world to make music".

Sorry for the long rant, Jason. The NI thing strikes a chord with me smile

I used the "Apparat" kit, BTW.

Thanks a lot for listening and dropping by. I'm glad you liked the beats

Slick drum groove from the start.  Those lil build up transitions are really cool.  The arp is extra nice with it's chill midrange.

i am going over all your WB this year, love it all, enjoying this one
