False prophet

By laguna on November 26, 2018 12:01 am

I rescued an old project that was intended for Weeklybeats 2014. This is me messing with string sampled libraries and some Native Instruments Battery. Four years have passed and I still haven't listened to all the features of my Komplete 10 package...

Frankly, hearing the usual WB level of string programming, specially those of you doing orchestal stuff, my sad viola riffs are quite shameful, but I was running out of time and maybe with the right production and A LOT of further decent programming, this song goes somewhere.

Better release it to the world than keeping it in a forgotten corner of the hard drive.

WIsh you the best for those next 7 days. Thanks for listening

ugh, I have missed SO many of your tracks.  Please forgive me!  Going to try to catch up before the end of 2019!  Love this track, especially when you drop the CHIP

This should be the WB slogan!

That beat is awesome. Like Autechre if they didn't make me feel queasy.

At the tail-end of 2018, I too find myself going back to earlier tracks. Old or new, though, this is boss.

Please excuse me for the late reply, guys. I'm losing a lot of free time lately with mundane/non creative stuff that sucks my soul.

Oh, you're really kind, OrangeDrink. I should be catching up with your stuff also. Missed so many tracks by now

That's quite a compliment... and yes, the late Autechre makes me feel the same way smile

Thanks a lot for one year of feedback, Jim. You're maybe the most constant listener here on WB. Means a lot to me, really

Like the dubby feel to this one and the change with the orchestration near the end, almost a “DJ spooky vs the freight elevator quartet” feel.
