Daily commute daydreaming

By laguna on April 8, 2018 10:56 pm

Little simple piece built with four short berlin-esque MIDI loops and some live tweaking on a Novation MiniNova. Some automation and effect interaction to give it some interest and movement.

It is really a very simplistic piece made in less than three hours. Maybe could be good for a video snippet.

I'm really really tired this week. Lots of preparation for future projects (Ableton Live finally running smoothly on Linux! ... Jack network audio and MIDI routing ... Reaper on my Linux laptop running flawlessly...) though not much music made.

I really really want to catch up with your work and enjoy, though I guess I need to sleep. 6 days of work in this shift to go...

Have a great week, wherever you are smile

Sleep!  Your music projects sound great - I know what you mean, it can be tough to rotate multiple music projects with different timeframes AND be focused on making something for WB.  I like this piece a lot - your primary loop has a good mysterious quality which makes it easy to build upon.  Sounds good!  Agreed about a video.

Video, yes, Very proto-industrial (not in a musical definition).

Oh, yes. I do love Weelybeats very much, though sometimes it's really hard to manage time, work, projects AND the WB. I work in long shifts, so there are times of complete freedom and other moments of "I must get up at 5:30 if I want to lay down some basic tracks for this week.

Thanks a lot for the comment, glad you liked my synth disgression smile Sorry about the late reply

One of my most delayed projects is documenting my music production techniques with some proper videos. Hope to make it happen soon!

Not sure if I get the industrial side of teh track, though it sounds like a compeling attribute smile Thanks a lot, Jim, as always, and sorry for the very late reply

Nice Work!
Sorry for my late vote smile
