Excellent, catchy tune! Are you sure that nap didn’t last for hours and hours? The graphics on the game boy takes me back to my rural home area, how did that come about?

It tickles the brain. Such a lovely structure and sounds.

Thank you!! hehe, it was actually two naps, each about 1-1,5h long.. I used an old song as a starting point so I had to do very little sound design (and even recycled some phrases

commented on youtube, but some more remarks here as i catch up commenting on some WB highlights:
i'm still really impressed by the sound design here.
like the stereo-warped staccato bass starting a minute in, is that like a pulse channel with "overclocked"-tempo OL/R fliddling?
and the kinda-broken dirty arp lead tones in the 0:30 breakdown? not sure what i'm even listening to there

Thanks correct, the staccato bass is 3X tempo OL/R switching. The resulting ghost note lands somewhere between F and F# so it can do fat stereo sounds like that when used with notes that play well with those pitches. Longer notes sound pretty horrible though
The arp lead tones are done by switching the pulse waveform rapidly in a certain pattern with a table. Just tried random combinations there until I got something that I liked

This is hella dope. I'm really really really curious about LSDJ now, there's an overwhelming amount of remarkable music on here and the exchange between wangus and you here is signaling some stuff.

Thanks! You definitely should give it a try. As you're already familiar with using the sequencer from M8, the learning curve shouldn't be too steep. Would love to hear what you could come up with
