Break - a DIY subharmonicon track

By Kohlhofer on May 17, 2020 10:23 pm

tried to approximate a few of the key features of the very exciting Moog subharmonicon: polyrhythm, subharmonic oscillators, etc... good times.

Sweet sounds, how did you make it?

I am creating a polyrhythm compromised of a 3rd and 5th division of a clock to drive a sequencer (#tirana) that in turn drives subharmonic divisions of a master oscillator (#DPO B). Another sub oscillator is locked to a fixed subharmonic relation. I am using #loopop's #math patch to create these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L10Pj...

Korg Sq1 drives the main sequence and there is a 4 step touring machine courtesy of #ornamentandcrime that provides the bass line using OSC A of the DPO.

nice!
