Oz Reprise

By Kleie on April 10, 2016 7:30 pm

after I chose not to upload my song last week (it was just too bad) I am a bit more happy with this one. Somehow it turned out to be completed generated in Max using some samples from Oz Tumor by Christian Grey which I had on my hard disk feeding into some granular synthesis.
It is a reprise to Oz (a Graffiti Artist from Hamburg/ Germany who died in 2015 being hit by a commuter train whilst doing some Graffiti), simply because "Oz" is probably the only word that can actually be heard.

This is some of the best Glitch I've heard (also elements of early computer music?). Excellent work!

Thank you for this comment. Much appreciated. And yes, it will sound like elements of early computer music as this involves some "raw" digital wave forms generated in Max.

Damn. I think my personal favorite is the guitar buildup that goes nowhere. Great sounds in there. Really like it.

Awesomely unsettling.  Oddly, I was picking up on a definite "train" vibe from this.

Excellent!
