Canto IX

By Kleie on March 27, 2016 8:03 pm

This week I wanted to do something with some sort of reference to Easter and now I have to admit that I did not quite finish this one. The vocals are still missing and they would have been from Dante's Inferno (hence the title). Still, I am quite happy to have made it this far. Relatively complex and massively influenced by the lute played by Christian who is also known as Colorful Grey here at Weekly Beats. It is remarkable how much better a song sounds with a lute in it. You should all try it.
This song was a lot of fun, with appearances from a priest, my son, a London train and people at the Arts by the Sea Festival in Bournemouth. All random recordings I made some time ago...

Let me know what you think...

Does have an ecclesiastical quality, but that might just be reaction to your title ::) Was that your son sneezing? Worked perfectly.

Thanks.... No it was not my son sneezing, it was him speaking out some random regions in the world.

Obviously I think it's a great track!! BTW I changed my user name to Christian Grey because it was confusing! How about Colorful Kleie haha

It has a nice dark Texture. Love this Track!
