Pans

By kevanatkins on February 23, 2020 1:06 pm

Based on some audio from a live patching session in MaxMSP manipulating some pots/pans/trash sounds. Then chopped up and arranged in Pro Tools. I'm about to go on tour, and I'm hopping on a plane tomorrow. I should not be up right now...

Loooovely. How do you find the live patching/how do you do it/can you stop the bloody audio scheduler resetting every time you connect a MSP object?

Weeeeell, it still cuts out and all that. That's why it gets chopped up and put into Pro Tools because the raw performance is mostly not useable. Also partly because I'm not good enough at live patching to keep something together. Here's a screenshot of the resulting mess:

Cool ambience. I expected it to be a lot messier, honestly.

have a great tour!  where are you going?

your patch layout scared me smile

I want to learn how to make stuff like this one of these decades !

Just a short one, starting in Melbourne, then Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Sydney. In fact so short, I'm already back home as of yesterday.

Messier than most of my patches even the more complicated ones. But that's live patching.
