I have been catching up on watching The Mandalorian and I like the mix of Sergio Leone westerns and space fantasy.
This week I wanted to do the bastard child of western movie soundtrack borrowing elements of Ennio Morricone and mixing them with more sci-fi/EDM elements. Fake guitar with tremolo and reverb, vibraslap, gunshots. Windy desert. Of course I ended up reusing my team of mariachis from last week - I think I've taken a liking to them.
Done on FL Studio, with some 909 beats and Sytrus synth.

Feels like a sci-fi western stand-off build up that ends in a gigantic shoot out and I love it.
Question: What is that bass sound you use in the intro? Has a great driving feeling to it.
Thanks a lot - I was going for that vibe.
The build up bass is from Sytrus synth in FL Studio - I used an arpeggiator called "action". It's pretty cool and gives great result for little effort.
Vraiment chouette! Getting the western influences definitely, and a penchant for synthwave on the EDM/Sci-fi side, good idea to mix both! the vibraslap is just the perfect addition
s'ketti goooooood

Merci! Le monde a besoin de plus de vibraslaps! (et de PQ...)

Hahahaha oui! Sans quoi il faudrait bien que quelqu'un invente les trois coquillages de Demolition Man!
Oooh, I like the western/synth mix.

Thank you!
Really Dig this track, nice work!!!
Ooh ... deffo has that Morricone-vibe to it. But because of the electronics it reminds me very much of the Drive-soundtrack. Which is a huge compliment, cause it is extremely awesome! As is this track
Kudos!!!!!

Thanks a lot - I really appreciate the comment! I'll check the Drive soundtrack!
Dig the mix in the first half. Captures the vibe nicely. The trumpet tone is my pick for the second halp.
