Puddles

This is a track I started last week and that was really not much more than a sketch. I was not inspired this week so pulled this one and finished it. Until the very last minute, I really disliked this track but then, at the time of trying to find a name for it, it reminded me of being a little kid and playing at jumping into puddles and making the water splash all around and getting my shoes soaked wet. And for some reason, that made me like this track again. Go figure.

Funny how WB reconnects us with fond memories like that sometimes. big_smile And this track really does have a blissful, playful quality to it!

Oh, I love this. The acoustic string and percussion over the processed vocal line is a great combination. There are flavors of Chinese traditional music in here that are absolutely lovely. Peaceful and beautiful. Thank you for sharing it.

Ohh, so nice. Innocent and lovely peaceful vibes coming over to me. I love the hick-ups the lady has.

It does seem to capture an innocent childhood feel.  I think the little whooping noises kind of give it the feeling of kids playing.  Agreed the Eastern vibes were a nice touch as well.

Love those lil vocal waOhs as they dance with the main melody.  The rhythm with those vocals has a nice calming effect too.  Oh the rain just made it even calmer thank you smile

i heard you like notifications so get ready for notifications

you do so well with these koto like instruments, is this all from your super koto pack?

this is the opening credits that has the flashback to the main character growing up in japan, and then their sensei gets killed but you know, that's after the credits!

I like this. I can picture splashing in puddles as a kid, I like that image. Love the voice samples. The koto always sounds good. Peaceful reflective song, nice one.

Lovely laid back chill vibes. Perfect for the soundtrack of a quaint village. smile
