And now for something completely different.
Some of these sounds are obviously inspired by the movie Arrival and its sound design. I wanted to make it sound like what the wild life on an alien planet might sound like.

I have been listening to the huge alien ambient tracks that some of the community like rdomain have been putting out and loved them. I like how they defy the usual approach/structure of tracks so I wanted to try it out, throwing all my best practices about length of sections, about song structure (which was really based on pop/rock paradigm). Playing with atonal sounds, weird structures, things that don't repeat, or lingering on a specific sound for 2 minutes, let it simmer and live. I am happy with the result, it's very different. Also, by far, my longest track on WB.
It also features some samples out of Aisjam sample package.
A nice side excursion into the ambient and strange. It does a great job of evoking the feeling of an alien landscape with unseen critters making noises from the dark jungles filled with completely unfamiliar foliage. A little spooky and unsettling but also fun to visit another planet.

The YouTube picture is very nice. A good choice to get lost in, while the music plays. There is a lot going on, but it stays unclear, what, who, where, why, when and how. Nice project, definitely different and still a Kedbreak.

I like how the giant "thing" is in the distance, and then we get caught up in the trees and bushes and lose sight of it - then we are running, trying to hack our way through the jungle, and then we reach a clearing and BOOM - there it is again.
creepy!
this track has "no chill!"

Really awesome sounding effects starting from the beginning. Really spooky! The texture is ear candy. Fantastic evolution of the track as well.
Also, Arrival is a fantastic movie. I love those kinds of alien movies where humanity is reacting to the existence of other worldly life forms.

Yeaah, this is awesome, you really managed to capture an eerie, otherworldly feeling. Amazing sound design. Especially liked the more quiet part around 5 min, leading back to the first theme.

I'm sensing the presence all around me. Creepy and mysterious. Great sound design! Putting some things front and back, side to side. Strong presence! Love Arrival. Forgot the music until this. This sounds fun to make, getting lost in journey. Agree, so fun to make some kind of ambient things that don't adhere to normal structure.

Great job on this one, some really nice sound design and texture, like that dripping percussion and constant feeling of something moving around you. Also love the “predator” sounds, watched that movie with the kids a few weeks ago, my son is always trying to make that sound.

Definitely a very cool journey over dangerous and foreign lands. Some excellent tones in here from the heavier bass tones to the skittering sounds in the second half. Great stuff. More of this please!
