Neutrinoing the Deadline

By Kedbreak136 on November 27, 2022 2:29 pm

Well, apparently I got it all wrong, neutrinos do not travel backwards in time.

I kinda like this track, but it is still very much the bare bone structure of something that could be interesting. I did not have the time to finish the track because I started it too late and was busy this weekend (including going to a live concert, boy I had missed that).

So because of the short time and the need to speed it up, I had this vision of waking up late on a Monday morning and running to the station while dressing, drinking coffee and eating a croissant (hey I am french, croissants come with the passport).

Fast-paced, quite aggro, unfortunately quite massively unpolished. Well, I'll try to start the track earlier this week (haha as if that will ever happen).

Perfect as a movie soundtrack. With surprising changes and climaxes. Love it

there is a lot of speed in this track. it almost explodes.  glad you made everything right on time. I love this mr. bean scene, too.

...just the way we like it. cool  The breaks are superb and the transitions from the quiet to ass-kicking parts sound huge  (+fav)

(Is the "mrbean" tag on account of the vision coffee, the gif, or some deeper connection that I'm missing?)

It for sure has the feel of someone rushing to beat a deadline.  This would be a good soundtrack for driving to the airport when you're running late for your flight.  It would certainly motivate you to go faster.

Love the sense of urgency in this, momentary relief at 1:07 then right back at it, instead of driving I envision more running through busy streets, ducking through alleys and jumping over fences.

Holy shit the breaks work in this! Ridiculous energy, non-cartoonish execution. heart

You're thinking of tachyons. Anyway, nice beats, good energy.

To the train with the croissant in hand! Ah pause to eat said croissant white the flutes calm us! Back to it, let's go! Some tasty bits here, and your signature propulsive forces at work. The neutrinos have scienced up this commute. Back in time ...

haha, that was the gif from another thing! Darn clipboard. Here's my back in time train.

But hey, dancing pie is always good no?

Ooooh yais!  Love the fast paced tension that dark synth plays off the excellent kedbreaks! Mr Bean Gets Smart! wink

Thank you very much! I definitely agree with the suprising part of the changes. This was still very much unpolished and more like a mashup of ideas, which kinda works in a pure ADHD fashion.

Mr bean is such an international talent! I am glad you appreciated the explosion of ranom energy of this track!

The mrbean is just a riff of the gif, nothing much deeper than that. Or at least that's what I try to explain to my therapist. Thank you for your nice comment!

I will not take responsibility over any enthusiastic interpretation of the driving regulation one might make while under the influence of this track.

This is parkour with coffee in one hand and a croissant in the mouth, and bunny slippers!

Thank you! That's tachyons I was indeed thinking about! Thank you for the nice comment and helping with my failing memory!

Thank you! I am afraid i am overusing the "analogue" preset of Flex. I just looooove that bass sound. smile

Thank you! I went heavy on the breaks on this one, layering breaks over breaks over breaks over breaks over breaks. And I liked it.

Loving that super spacious arp as a foundation for the track. When that break kicks in around the 50sec mark I was ejected from my body.

Holy smokes... that saw bass at 0:59! Love those dark heavy sections. Great ascending sections at the end.  Total hyperdrive!

Lots of great breaks in here and gnarly bass tones.  Sounds good to me!

If neutrinos did travel back in time, i'm pretty sure this track is what that would sound like: an all out ecstatic rush to meet the primitive challenges of the past with future wisdom, i'm so confident we're going to win as big as this track smile
