I know nothing

This track went through a long, strange journey to arrive to its final form. One of its earlier iterations was a track based on the Schmidt Sting Pain Index, which is used to measure and describe how painful the sting of different insects are. But that was in a past life, it now is a different type of track, maybe more electro synthwave-ish, with some other random stuff in it. Not the most original, but that will do for this week.

That Schmidt guy sounds like he drew the short end of the scientific straw to have to come up with that.  I can't imagine that was enjoyable to test out.  This track cooks though.  I liked the spoken word part.

Poor Schmidty. Love the pace of this and all of your tracks.  They always have this cinematic action packed feeling to them.  I like that synth solo towards the end too.  Some sweet licks in there.  Well done!

Schmidt sounds so german. I feel ashamed. Good this track doesn`t honor this guy and doesn`t hurt.

This sounds huge, I really dig the drums, those bell type sounds over the main beat make an incredible combo

Class, I love how large and powerful this sounds. Excellent sound selection and mixing. Thank you for enlightening me about the schmidt pain scale, I now know how to accurately describe my suffering the next time I get stung by a wasp. Bravo heart

Again a nice cinematic track. Bien joué.

Getting some German industrial vibes from this one!

I suspect this is the kind of profession that you do not choose, it chooses you. Also I believe he did not intend to get stung that often, but it was one of the hazard of the job one has to accept.

Thank you! I tried to make a track in a more traditional way, even with a solo! smile

I hope there was not too much sting in there, it just went into more traditionnal electro sound.

Ah yes these bell sounds are Chinese cymbals, which I got for my track a few weeks ago for the fake kung fu game soundtrack. I like the exotic sound they have, it brings another color to the palette.

Yes. The poetic aspect of the descriptions makes me suspect he actually kinda enjoyed it. smile

Haha i knew that me listening to KMFDM would come out at some point!

the acoustic bass portion in the middle with the percussion is kinda cool! nice drive and energy in the track, and nice to read about Schmidt, sounds like super fascinating and unique scientific work smile

I'm up and moving with this. Pumped to run from the insects, no to fight the insects. YES. Dig the tasty synth leads and the moving bass

Somewhat related story about the schmidt pain index; when I was playing Fallout: New Vegas I was wondering what those cazador bug things were based off and found out they were based on Tarantula Hawk Wasps and I thought they were terrifying. Then I found out they pretty much live almost exclusively in my area and found out they also have the 2nd most painful sting according to the Schmidt Sting Pain Index.

Super dope synth-wavey vibe at the begining and I especially love when the upright bass part rolls in with the conga(?) solo. smile

Wow, energy and feel of this track is massive, that change up to the clean bass and the vocal sample midway sounds awesome, definitely feel the industrial vibes, first thing that came to my mind was front 242

I know enough to know I like this song. It's got the same vibe as the crane school, too.

I love this -- clearly a shady deal is being made while someone's trying to stop it BUT THEY ARE IN THE WRONG BUILDING I REPEAT THEY ARE IN THE WRONG BUILDING. heart

Hard hitting synth rock! Cool action or chase sequence feel.  Those percussion lines just past the mid point are sweet!
