Deep Dive

By Kedbreak136 on December 4, 2022 12:31 pm

A track about diving into one's subconscious, between the shallow waters of half forgotten thoughts, the immersed forest of kelp and Freudian slips, until the dark depth where one can hear the whales of time singing in the distance, and getting suggestions of large things unseen that lurk deep down in the darkness.

Or maybe it's just a track with some splashing wave samples, with some bubbles to spice it up. It's up to you.

I see no reason it can't be both.

the third option would be: this track is perfectly made for a movie.

Sounds like a wonderful and magical ocean adventure.  I always love your usage of sound effects.

I'm envisioning this as being an awesome OST for something like that game "Journey" except during some moment where you're riding an ocean current and exploring the ocean.

An epic track with the pads washing over you, nice development with great complement of sounds and the whales chirping/singing/rapping?, awesome waves samples to end things.

I like the analysis flip.  Haha.  A heap of great musical ideas crammed into a fun listen.  Works a treat!

The waves are an excellent combo with the rest of the orchestration especially the strings.  Def giving me ocean docuvibes.  That synth bass sits so nicely in the mix as well.  This sounds great!  The wave outro was soo appreciated right now too.

I can see it now, the truth beyond all truths! The drive swells within me, this track is both the sound of the call throughout, and the feel of the energy within. We will all make it to the same place someday somehow! big_smile

Yes, your story sets the tone for this. This line made me smile: "the immersed forest of kelp and Freudian slips", Those sea creature sounds make me want to know them more. Great movement and variety in the arrangement. I'm diving deep!
