Brothers And Bullets

By Kedbreak136 on April 21, 2024 6:23 am

A track inspired by the video game Sleeping Dogs, maybe also 70s motown, and Tarantino movies I guess. Street fighter stage music for Guile as well maybe?

I spent more time on this one and constructed it little by little. I think it would benefit from laying to rest in the fridge for some time before I come back to it and solve a few issues and improve a few points, but overall pretty happy with the vibe of the track.

Another great sound movie.  I can see a car chase involving 70's cops.  I like the chilled out section in the middle before it ramps up again.  It gives you a sense of a quieter moment in the story where the protagonist can take a moment to reflect before pursuing the bad guys again.

WOW. This has a style. a lot of vintage charm. I have the movie screen right in front of my eyes. Bravo.

*track starts*

me: "i bet that's kedbreak"

*looks at info*

me: "heh.  i'm awesome."

*stomach rumbles*

me: "i need some chips"

*takes off headphones and gets chips*

*puts headphones back on, eats chips*

me: "oh, another person's track has started"

*looks at info*

me: "dang it, it's still kedbreak!"

Yes that was kind of the intent. There are also some quiet moments in the life of a ganster!

Hahah yep that sounds like my ADHD is hitting the tracks and get them down weird alleys. Why not hide a whole album full of random ideas into a single track?

This one is a RIDE!

Damn, this track is an entire movie plot in 2:30. Absolutely NAILED the cop show vibe…and then there’s the flamenco-ish break in the center! Absolutely epic.

Very fun track, defiantly getting Starsky & Hutch vibes.  Well done.

killer!!! The chase scene sounds, horns, the space around 1:15. So amazing!

I'm gonna need a hawaiian shirt for this one as I hear those 70s vibes.  Felt like Bruce Lee was jumping over cars thru traffic smile  Fun track throughout!

I've recently seen "Death Proof", so yes, you are nailing a faux-70s car chase soundtrack. Some Desperado vibes there in the middle, too. No notes, five stars.

Thank you! I'm glad the cop show vibe was conveyed!

I need to check Death Proof, I have never seen it. Thank you for checking out this track and the nice comment!

Fun beat and brass! Sure sets the stage for an entertaining chase / action sequence.

Oh yeah, I like. That bass, the horns, here we go. Nailed that action scene 70's movie vibe. Funky flowing soundtrack, then that great little breakdown, classic.

Those horns are so nice, reminded me of old movie scenes of cops chasing the lead character and all the cop cars keep crashing and piling up.
