Watching the Clouds

Hi everyone smile

This week I wanted to try a more minimal track again, and it reminded me how challenging it actually is to make just a few elements sound like a lot. I definitely need to spend more time on this to really understand it (scratching my head).

If anyone has any tips or topics I should look into, I’d really appreciate it!

Anyway, here’s my entry for this week, hope you like it!

Have a nice day smile

Cheers

KaZu

P.S. As always, I’m really grateful for any constructive feedback, opinions, and so on smile

I think you achieved it pretty well!! I liked all the sections how you managed to give enough air and space to the different sounds smile It flows very nicely, is also more of a low frequency track so there isn't necessary need to overpower the sounds by making them massive, the only part I would have tried to do a little different is the second drop at 2:36, I felt like the main lead could have been a little different in terms of either a slightly more open filter or a bit more saturated or a richer note writing to make it stand out a little more, other than that I liked it a lot!! heart

First of all, sorry for the late reply, and thank you so much for your kind and especially helpful feedback! smile

I’m really glad you enjoyed the track! smile

I think you’re 100% right that the track could have used a bit more presence or variation around 2:36, just to make that section a little more exciting and give it more interesting.

Your ideas definitely gave me a few things to think about, and I can totally see how a few small tweaks could have made that part stand out more smile Definitely something I’ll keep in mind for future tracks, thanks again! smile
