heard from a friend that weeklybeats might meet my music-making-habits, although it was slightly too late and so i didn't get to manage the first week. sorry for that. en principe i follow a fast approach in imagining and recording music: drawing upon first ideas - in about 1,5 days a 'sketch' is completed. in the sketch 'vitae' you can hear my encounter with new toys: nord drum 2, ukulele, mopho.

I definitely like the meterless feel to this song! The uke remains in a standard time signature, but because the drums at the beginning have its accents all over the place, it's pretty fantastic to listen to. Even a single change from an accent on 2 to an accent on 3 can change the way the song is perceived!
