love the crunch and the drums combined with the long low notes. cool one!
A lot of lofi beats this week for some reason! Nice forward motion with the plucky arp.
great chilled out vibe.
you nailed the dusty lo-fi production style.
the guitar/pluck sound is great!
Simple yet effective! Really nice melody.
Drums are vibin’. Melody is great!
Thanks! I initially thought it would be a background arp, and I'd do a lead over it. Kept fiddling with note placement, started to like it up front. Especially when I added a delay to it, it ends up making some really nice two-note chords. It's a bit hard to hear in this version though, if I come back to this piece I'll turn up the volume on the delay a bit.

Killing it. Very solid beat.
Much appreciated. Spent a lot of time programming drums, ended up finding a drum loop later that did exactly what I was looking for. I chopped that up instead. Ended up being a cozy chair for the rest of the song to sit in.
This is like if Lorn and Tycho spent a sunday morning together
Haven't heard of Lorn, but I Tycho! Fun story: I keep meaning to buy Dive on vinyl, and have accidentally bought Awake twice. 🙃
this is really pretty

Yes please. This was awesome, thank you.

Thanks everyone. First real attempt at a lo-fi vibe, and it was so much fun.
(Has anyone else heard this story about Boards of Canada? Someone asked them how they made their lo-fi sound. Turns out they would record their music to VHS tape, and when playing it back they'd bang on the top of it to get a tape warble. 😆 I love that story so much, I don't even care if it's true. I may look for a VHS deck on my next trip to the thrift store...)

No harm trying it out- the experiment sounds like so much fun!
