05 Thank You For Saving Me

By Joshua Satterfield on February 5, 2012 9:49 pm

I am (not really) sad I missed 3&4, sorry (and made a song about it, but that is not this one.)
(Should I sing lower? (yeah))
Deck doesn't play at a constant speed, so it does an odd ADT and delay sounding thing.
Chords are Sgt. Pepper, except for messed up, out of scale: I7, II7, IV7]

"""
thank you for saving me
so i can stay

thank you for dying
so i can remain

and the longer i stay in bed
the longer it takes to clear my head

and without you i would never get a
single thing done

(etc)

No Thank You! How did we not find you in Week One? So glad we found you this week though! We've been back to listen to all your weekly beats stuff. Your songs are lovely - this one is our favourite so far - and the decay on these tracks from your half dead tape recorder is amazing!!

Aw, thanks, 'ya'll'! (btw the 'we' in your post was weirding me out until i saw that there was more than one person on your account,(wasn't sure if friendliness or D.I.D. = P ))

hehe "so I can something"
That wobbly decay really is pretty neat, especially when it's harmonizing with the piano.

Thanks, Brackleforth!
