Been on furlough all week due to the COVID virus. Saw a show where a cop had to identify the body of his druggy friend so I decided to write an upbeat song about it, including both sides of the story. My wife helps with a little bit of backing AGAIN. Trying to make it a weekly thing. Enjoy!

Damn dude, that really sucks. Sorry to hear! I hope this shit wraps it up soon so we can get back to normal. It looks like you're making good use of the extra time so far though man, this is a super cool track. Love the instrumentation and the vocals. What even is that pianoy sound?
Thanks dude! Ya, my furlough is "TBD due to regulations in place", which means "we don't want to pay you for what you do". But, I'm taking it as more time with the wife and kids which is great. The piano-y sound is Sakura VST in FLStudio and the preset is Sitar-board
Beautiful! The vibe is great lyrics are awesome and guitar is sweet plus the synths! Goodwork bro!
Ahh sorry to hear about the work, that sucks. Your vocals are great, they have a nice timbre to them and they sit perfectly in the mix. The oohs section is lovely!
Dude you killed it on the vocals! You're vocals are for sure improving as you find your range. Cool song too man. Nice production on it, sounds very clean. That's awesome that Amelia made it onto another track.
Great, great, great job Jim. Love the emotion behind this track, the vocals, the transitions, the instrumentation. Great composition overall. Bravo.
Really great track by you and Amelia. I bet you two had a blast working on it together. Gettin pretty damn good at arranging some vocal licks there bud
Great track, love the vocals and the vocal melody. Overall mix sounds nice. Aaaa-ooooooooo

Thanks both of you! I actually heard I “go back” tomorrow, aka - working from home so I’m happy.

Thanks bwian, I like big hooks and I cannot lie
Great track, love the vocals and the vocal melody. Overall mix sounds nice. Aaaa-ooooooooo
Thanks man! It was hard not to throw in a “werewolves of London” in the background haha
This is top shelf upbeatness, despite of course the subject matter hahaha! Love the break with 'ah oooh aaaah', just really gets me into the song
Thanks Gab! I'm a big fan of songs that have lyrics that don't match the song style. I was lazy for a chorus so the "ohh-ahh" fit perfect haha!
Great song. and yes ohhh ahhhh works! .
That's pretty good, really like those drums and what you did with your voice.
Really liked this one, the song felt really developed to me, a solid idea fully realised well done.
