@boldfacetype thanks for the comment -- great question. I guess the lesson I'm really trying to take from this is to just trust my intuition and run with things. If it wasn't for the deadline I probably would've spent a few weeks tweaking the panning or some such nonsense on this and it probably would've been exactly the same thing.
