For my submission for week 2, I wanted to go in a bit more of a hypnotic, melodic approach, with heavy bass.  The song is in 5/4, but hopefully it just feels vaguely trippy and not too much like math.

The production becomes a part of how the song tells it's story. Feels like math in the best way.

the atmosphere is really well done, it feels cozy, warm. Good job!

Time sig totally works.  Great atmos and mix.  That kicks glues it togehter awesomely

nice twist with 5/4, works great.

love those vocal samples (or is it vox)? matches the glitchy atmosphere of the track really well

i agree with cTrix, fine job with the mix and mood, and i can feel the bass driving the groove with help from that mangled steel drum sound dancing around it...fading into a really interesting arp. Nicely done!

beautiful

Nice use of layers which  help create a sense of space.

Love the vocoded sound with the atmosphere of the effects. great feeling of unified mood with all instrumentation.

I like the interplay between all the elements here, and it is pleasant to listen to yet complex and challenging in some ways

wow, thanks for the comments everyone!  much appreciated.

this is very cool.

I've done a couple of tracks in 5/4, but they turned out nothing like this one did - very impressed.

well done! I dig the mood. I look forward to hearing more.

Love the opening percussion. That alone can sustain the piece.

Really like the abstract feeling of the song

Love the vocal samples and atmosphere!
