Week 4!!!! This one was completely made in Ableton. Such a slow process!! Had to render a bunch of tracks multiple times to mix and commit to the effects since my computer is getting a bit old. Used a bunch of Serum and Arturia’s Jupiter synth for the synths. The stuff I create on Ableton is usually in the future bass/trap range but never tried adding vocals so this is a bit of an experiment combining my pop songwriting with that EDM style.
For the vocals I was singing normally and trying some harmonies when I found a range I thought was interesting (my highest). Tough to sing but I liked the result. Lot’s of parallel 4ths in the harmonies for a kind of alien quality.
