Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Had to post this one early, as we're off to an Easter holiday trip! Found this unfinished beat and did absolutely nothing to it, but rendered a small visualization in two stages to this:

The animation is lovely and beautiful, and reminded me that I've been meaning to check the Playdate APIs, but Playdate's going to have to wait -- a friend asked me for a house tune way back in February and if I'm making one, it's due this week. So I've been listening to this, since it seems to do quite a lot w/ very little (listening to how the drums work on this, trying to think through all the takes on the filtering tricks). Love what that weird sound that's mostly the lead but sometimes is the bass does (really good automation on it).
