Rosebyte

This track is 95% my friend @imagiag -- https://www.youtube.com/@imagiag/. Sampled bits of his session and transposed. I wanted to see if the shimmer of the M8 reverb fx can sound passable.

The experiment was a succes! Lovely watery and angelic textures in the reverb. The playing of your friend is beautifully melancholic and contemplative.
M8 has such awesome onboard effects. Love it.

Love it! and the shimmer works great heart

"Rosebyte" is such a cool name, and fits the pretty + moody aesthetic of the track.

Also M8 reverb shimmer fx "sounds passable:" CONFIRMED.  It feels like such a miracle we have it at all―do you remember when we had to make our shimmer verbs by hand?

brooding, shimmering goodness

Autoname FTW. Hilarious how you include me in that "we". I am a lazy bastard. I'd never go through something so tedious like you smile

Glad you enjoyed. Thank you!

This is gorgeous, man!
Your friend's playing is beautiful. And you made it extra special with your effects.
And that warbly, analog sounding synth that starts at 01:57 is incredible.
