Nanoloop: Welcome Back

By jimmac on September 13, 2022 7:17 am

Found this neat little app with similar heritage as the M8, so naturally I got it instantly. Played around and screen recorded the first thing I made in it. I have yet to discover how the sequencer works or bother with samples, but I actually like the elemental sound of it as is.

Tune here.

Tune here link broken.  Nice sound.  I will try this app.

My bad, a typo! Fixed now, thanks.

the bassy elements add this evocative momentum to the other elemental sounds, such an intriguing and beautiful mix of elements altogether.

Too kind. If you haven't, check out what a proper musician can squeeze out of that thing -- https://weeklybeats.com/gesceap

Wow great to hear you over here on the nano loop side too! Very unique instrument... I have not got much into the app version but the gameboy and hardware are awesome.
Great first workout - can't wait til you throw a breakbeat in there.

(I think WB ate my comment, I remember this way back when, even messaged you about Gesceap after this tune...)

Excited to see you using Nanoloop, another one of these rather unique "can send files back and forth" platforms which I feel we haven't had because Ableton + plugins is silly, and our Elektron intersection is I believe a null set tongue
