M8: GNOME Ambient

By jimmac on September 10, 2022 12:10 pm

A bit weird this week. I managed to bolt WB onto my work hours, designing a prototype of sound testing in the Settings. So while most of the time was spent in Blender, I did use the M8 to produce the stems to use in the VSE timeline.

Below is the prototype (not matching the arrangement you get when you play the tune back in WB).

While I'm happy about the prototype, the music is absolutely not fit for the job, I am just incapable of producing anything more optimistic it seems.

oh I'm feeling this. nice and spooky.

Piano sounds are lush -- this has "modern moody soundtrack" music all over. Sound designs reminds me of Severance cinematography -- every "shot" is beautiful. Feeling this.

I love the comment on the issue that the music should be happier XD. I love this for a soundscape and it would absolutely get me involved in tuning my sound system if this was the test material.

ya, proper eeriness, spins me right round in a wickedly welcome way big_smile

A strange piece, very cinematic. Especially as the bass hits it brings the tension one notch up.

Fantastic, I just picture evil garden gnomes taking over the city, some great sound design.
