Just a quick beat using samples from Citizen DJ (library of Congress).

Happy week 22, fellow public-domain-sampling M8 tracker!

The beat in this is great. If you have time to share them, it would be cool to see which samples you used to make it―I've tried finding usable stuff through the LoC before, but the best I got was dialogue from old training films.

I would have hard time poiting out the samples, but here's the track bundle:

The abrasive aspects of this are crazy dope: extend that intro to a couple of minutes and it's a perfect live set opener. (Was there a friends memo I missed that we're all leaning DNB type beats? Or serendipity?)

Super sharp breaks here, may be hazardous based on how good they make me feel. smile

I've had a pretty hard time finding something I could use in the LoC stuff too, but hey... amen to the rescue!
