Deceptive Elective

By Jim Wood on November 12, 2016 8:50 pm

When I heard Merkel's very conditional congratulations to Donald Trump, I knew I had the basis for this week's entry. My proclivity for choosing sound over meaning resulted in pretty much making a hash of her pointed message. Vocals (including the melismatic warble at the end and impulse response file in a convolution reverb): Angela Merkel. C Major.

I like the synth sounds on this one and the soundbites work excellently as well.

nice!

She has a very musical voice and you really used that to excellent effect in this piece.  Well done.

Too bad I couldn't have voted for her.

Playful track, I like the winding toy sounds and the melody

This is great! I don't think I've ever loved Angela this much!

I think the track is so good that it's not just a gimmick, it's actually just a great track! Kudos!

This is so funny, but it is sad to. She is my Chancellor. Nice music, Jim.

Very cool, love the bouncey-ness of the vocal samples... and whole track... sitting here bobbing along smile big_smile

Thanks for listening!

Wow, this is awesome on so many levels. Nice work!

an exceptional piece!

I tried to avoid the US election down in Oz as much as possible so I don't know the lady in question sorry but the phrasing works well in the track.  Nice organ like tone and I always like the little clicks (intentional or not).
