Agenda/Pushing It

So I'm sorry this didn't go up last week; literally pressed submit a few seconds after it hit 8 o'clock. Yeah, didn't work.
And apparently my roommate caught my reaction on film... Not pretty. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFEphaGY4EU

But I went back and fine-tuned it, added vocal samples, made some volume adjustments and made it a better trance/drumstep track than it was before. I should hope.

So here's a pretty loud track composed of two sections, the title of the track naming each respectively. (In all honesty, I made that name up within the last two minutes of last week's upload deadline shut up okay)

It's got several vocal samples that I attempted to record on Bbs and Fs to make the pitch-shifting less chipmunk-y. In listening to the sample qualities, I said thuck it and went with super-chipmunk.

There's some sidechaining to help add to the relatively quiet kick, and a nice piano SoundFont I went and abused with over-EQing and general volume raising.

Anyway, I'd love to hear your comments and critiques. So do that, plox. kthx

pretty epic..   the piano sounds like you're hitting it with a hammer.. smile

BEST APRIL FOOL!  Wooahh... I think some of the distortion might be actually thinning it out a bit - interesting use of some of those sounds... hehe, and triangle solo ;-)

All righty, I'll take it.
Next track I'm gonna work on mastering and making sure the levels don't cap freakin' all the time.

This is really cool.  Love it. So much energy.  Like that hyper clap machine and heavy snare.  I'm faving and downloading.
