A soft-sad piece of balladtronica born from the ashes of a dying hard drive. With vocals!

very cool. i really like your vocal delivery, that way that you end melodic phrases is really nice (im sure it has a name but idk what it is). and of course i love piano as well (though i am not sure if the tone of the piano fits here when layered with the vocals? idk)
Drifting in and out of focus
Watching all the back streets unfold
Listening to talk back
radio
Wandering through the sprawling suburbs
Watching all the gravestones unfold
Diamonds in a sea of
green
(CHORUS)
I won't see that look
In your eyes again
You're standing on a distant shore
Waiting patiently to
disappear
and if I'm lucky
I'll catch up to you
We'll sit down for that
one last beer
Waiting patiently for my phone to ring
then i'm out of here
Drifting in and out of your life
Watching all our histories mingle
Scrolling through old photos
on my phone
(CHORUS)
this song sounds professional! great work. it seems like it should feel slow, but there is so much going on at the same time it really kept me interested and just plain enjoying listening to it.
Now I'm curious about the hard drive.
hehehe i got 3/4 the way through finishing this track and my hard drive crashed and erased all the files for this project. I freaked out for five mins then got myself together and put it back together from scratch. so like a phoenix it rose from the ashes.
