Another week, another series of bad choices with respect to Elden Ring. So here's a quick imagining of a what a   “dungeon theme” might sound like if our favorite From game was played through an SC-55.

I probably should have stuck just to the SoundCanvas, but I couldn't resist lofi-ing it up a bit with a Shallow Water an Draume.

LOL, I have the Elden Ring addiction too. Tried to kick that with a new game instead... now I'm also addicted to Timberborn.

I'm hopelessly nostalgic with anything coming out of midi-gs devices. This brings back Might & Magic 3: Isles of Terra for me. Good memories.

Me too! I tried to kick the nostalgia a bit by adding FX. But really, were I to do it again (or have an extra day) I think I would have leaned into it and kept it dry.

Quest accepted, torch lit as I descend into ...., Nice canvas

It really captures the vibe well. Have you played any of their older games?

Thanks!

I played a bunch of Dark Souls when it came out. I didn’t catch up on Demon’s Soul until the remaster, though.

Oh, and I quite enjoyed Sekiro. So I guess I’d rank myself as an unknowledgeable fan :-)

I mean older than that. From has been at it for a long, long time. I'm talking about the King's Field series.

LOL I guess that's where the unknowledgable part comes in. I had no idea!

I'll have to check out Kings Field. It looks just like the kind of Eye of the Beholder/Ultima Underworld dungeon crawler I used to adore. I wonder if I have anything that can emulate an OG Playstation?
