Seven Sharp

I traded in my beloved MC-101 for the larger 707. It was the right move for me — I haven't really been valuing the 101’s portability since getting an M8, and I've been diving much deeper into ZEN-Core synthesis (which the 707 lets you manipulate on a very detailed level and the 101… doesn’t).

But while the sequencer of both is essentially identical (you can even share project files between them), I was not expecting the learning curve ball the 707 would throw at me. Everything’s in a different place and my muscle memory’s a wreck.

As such, this is pretty much straight off the 707 (not the least reason for which is: I haven't figured out how to export or record stems). No mixing. No mastering. I got twisted up with Looper tracks (of course) so there’s a whole verse left out. Just what I can do live with my sad clip-launching skills.

I love this, that main synth is so charismatic. Great composition and progression, vibing
