This was a “Rediscover how great Logic is” week. I've been DAWless for everything but mixing and mastering for almost a decade, now. But close to a year of weekly releases has really lit a fire under me to play around less and produce more. And when it comes to pure convenience and efficiency, it’s hard to beat a DAW.
So I forced myself to do a song with all stock plugins — including some really great softsynths I don't use often enough: RetroSynth, Sculpture, and Mellotron. All worth checking out (along with my old favorites ES2 and the venerable EFM1).
