I had everything set up. A sequencer going to my SoundCanvas. A patch bay with a whole belt of FX ready to go. But I didn't use any of it, really. I got the parts working in the default piano voice, and then couldn't be arsed to go find instruments that fit the mood. Maybe piano was the mood? And maybe light reverb was all it needed?

But I feel like I phoned it in. It was a very busy week, but I had more time for this than I put into it. As we near the end of the year, I'm finding it harder to stay motivated. I don't want to coast to the finish line, but at the same time, I'm looking forward to just, like, watching a movie on the weekend :-)

Those hi-pitch pianos gives lots of tension. I really like track as it is with different pianos, those drums roll are a nice touch.

About motivation, we are all in the same boat, it is very tough for me to put as much time as I did sometimes on some tracks this year, and to come to listen to other people music too.

I think it works great with the piano, its cinematic and goes so well with those drums, excellent job. I know the feeling about the weekend, after so many weeks im getting pretty tired and running out of steam too, all that considered you made something really great.

Extra thanks for both the affirmation and the time taken. I really appreciate it!!

Hang in there. Together we’re going to make it — and sound great doing it!
