I had so much fun with the “only FM” challenge a week or two ago, I decided to do it again. Only this time with a Digitone. Which has a filter. And I made liberal use of it. So not really FM FM. Also it got dirtied up in an Analog Heat… Now that I think about it, it was kind of a stone soup situation. I started with FM, sure, but I couldn’t help from adding a bunch of carrots and celery and stuff.

Now I want soup.

This is the French onion of 4 on the floor techno! By that I mean it’s the classiest soup with that delicious layer of cheese and bread.

I'll bring the croutons!

Such beautiful sounds. I look at the digitone and think "I don't need an FM synth" but damn those tones are lovely.

It's so cool the variety of sounds you are getting out of a DT MK1!

Your songs are always so groovy and so well mixed, and this is no exception. The timing through the whole thing is very human. And your sound design conjures for me multiple very different spaces: a chiaroscuro catwalk with tiny anvil hits and nervous-energy bass, a temple with disorienting chants and buzzing horns, a slimy warehouse in space. Awesome

Interesting and kinda haunting start, but it get's clubby fast with some acid sprinkles. Nice work.
